According to this malaysiakini article, Zaid Ibrahim wants the PM ticked off for buckling to pressure .
You see the PM had agreed that the amount paid to the "sacked" judges would not be disclosed as a way of giving them a little more dignity.
Now that the amount has been disclosed and even the former PM has come out with a definitive statement that indeed they were "sacked" but that the pension was not denied on humanitarian grounds, I believe this matter regarding the judges should be officially examined using a public inquiry.
Many Malaysians still have the perception that the damage inflicted on the Judiciary has still not been rectified and we must put this right.
Unless all aspects of events of 1988 are thoroughly examined, I am sure those judges will not be at peace with themselves and the treatment they received.
